Richmond?s WTVR big winner at TV academy?s National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter Emmy Awards

More than 130 Emmy Awards were handed out in 92 categories at the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the TV academy.

Among them, WRC?s Jim Vance and WJLA?s Alison Starling both received Emmys as best news anchor; WTTG, WRC and WJLA all snagged statuettes for their morning newscasts; and WJLA also snagged statuettes for for its daytime and evening newscasts.
