The 453-acre property in Thurmont, Md. was a favorite fishing getaway of presidents Herbert Hoover, Franklin Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower, reports Forbes. The former State Department official and his wife who?ve owned it for 60 years have tried to sell it a few times over the past decade ? putting it on the market for $20 million, then later canceling a planned auction at the last minute in 2003. This time they seem serious. The retreat boasts several guest houses, tennis and basketball courts, a movie theater and swimming pool.
