Newt Gingrich?s presidential campaign was battered this week by news that he was downsizing, charging for photos. and, possibly, losing his biggest backer.Now, the former House speaker is trying to figure a way around RNC rules that require a candidate to place first in at least five states during the primary process in order for that candidate?s name to be placed into nomination at the party convention.
