The FBI spent Tuesday stamping out a too-good-to-check story about a sexy Russian spy getting cozy with a member of President Obama?s cabinet. ?There is no allegation or suggestion in the complaint that Anna Chapman or anyone else associated with this investigation attempted to seduce a U.S. Cabinet official,? said a spokeswoman. The statement was issued after the BBC aired a documentary, in which FBI head of counterintelligence Frank Figliuzzi said feds swooped in back in 2010 because the spies were getting too close for comfort to a cabinet secretary. U.K. papers went wild with pictures of Chapman, but Figliuzzi never actually mentioned anyone by name and stuck to the facts of the 2010 criminal complaint ? which didn?t include any sex scenes.
