While we probably should thank the federal Office of Personnel Management for its recent hard work, a slight problem surfaces when we dig into the real consequences of its shelter-in-place recommendation [?New snow policy urges ?sheltering in place,??? Metro, Nov. 4]. What happens if you are sheltering in place, and the roads and Metro remain unusable for days (remember February 2010)?
