Kenyan in court over attack on UK tourist couple where man was slain and woman kidnapped

LAMU, Kenya ? A Kenyan man has been charged in connection with a deadly attack on a British couple staying at a safari lodge.

David Tebbutt was killed in the attack earlier this month, and his wife Judith was kidnapped and remains missing.

But Ali Babitu Kololo told the packed courtroom on Monday that he had been forced to cooperate with the gang at gunpoint, and had voluntarily gone to police the next day to report the crime.
