Regarding the Sept. 21 editorial ?D.C.?s irresponsible tax hike?:
The D.C. Council?s vote to add a new, higher tax bracket for wealthy residents is shortsighted and counterproductive. It demonstrates what happens when elected officials are too distracted to do the real work of governing. Someone once said there?s nothing more dangerous than an idea, when it?s the only one you have.
