We know that Washington is full of workaholics, but now even taking time off for a honeymoon appears to be politically incorrect.
Sen. Max Baucus and Rep. Loretta Sanchez both got married this summer ? and quickly announced that their honeymoons had to be postponed because of work. Baucus, who married Melodee Hanes July 2 in Montana, returned to D.C. after the senate canceled a week-long recess to debate the debt ceiling. Sanchez wed Jack Einwechter in her Orange County district on July 17, and then went immediately back to the office.
