George W. Bush has perfected one role of his post-presidential life: baseball fan.
?The thing I like most about him, he and I used to play baseball trivia ? sometimes during meetings, when we weren?t supposed to be doing it,? Commissioner Bud Selig told MLB.com on Sunday.
The 43rd president, with former first lady Laura Bush at his side, is getting plenty of screen time during the World Series as he cheers on his Texas Rangers from front row seats near the dugout. Bush threw out the first pitch for Sunday?s Game 4: He got a rousing ovation from the Texas crowd as he walked to the mound, then tossed a fastball (wide to the right) to Hall of Fame pitcher and Rangers president Nolan Ryan.
