University Park parent Anne O?Connor has plenty of company in questioning the amount of money she?ll have to pay to see her son march in his Prince George?s high school graduation [?A cap, a gown ? and a $159 bill,? Local Opinions, Oct. 9]. Our children?s high school ?gowns? from two decades ago still reside dusty in the back of a closet. Later, there were college graduations. (I can?t recall where that attire is now.) The flimsy fabric is cheesy and reminiscent of Halloween costumes. What a waste of resources.
